Local storage (not a cookie)

These keys live in your browser and are never sent to us automatically:

• bb-run — your current run, so you can close the tab and come back.
• bb-session — a random identifier used to group anonymous page views.
• bb-theme — light or dark, your choice.
• bb-best — your best submitted score, for the end-of-run comparison.

Cookies set by third parties

The analytics provider sets a first-party cookie to count visits and distinguish unique browsers; it holds no personal data. Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_* cookies with a randomly generated client identifier, retained for up to fourteen months.

On editorial pages Google AdSense may set advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to limit repeat ads and select relevant advertising. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in Google’s ad settings.

Managing cookies

All major browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data, and private-browsing modes discard it when the window closes. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect gameplay; blocking local storage will prevent runs from being resumed.
